Wolf Trap is a proposed Washington Metro (WMATA) Silver Line station to be located at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts. It was originally part of WMATA's Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project, but was eliminated to reduce the cost of the multi-billion-dollar Metrorail extension. However, the plan still exists for a future "in-fill" station, requiring funding separate from the two-phase expansion now under construction.
